  9. If the government concluded that crypto coins were dangerous  to the banking system they would pass a law against it’s use. It would not stop the use of the coins but those that got caught could be charged with a crime. In time the crypto coins would then go the way of the dodo bird.

  27. It’s kinda like communism. It sounds great on paper. But the commies never mention the pushback from the people who currently have power. So my concerns are if you plan to break up federal reserve look at people who have tried. Andrew Jackson. Rip. Iran , Syria , and the mother load the Germans before ww2. Look at the inflation they were dealt with , So my guess is if this were to really have a threat to take over paper money , get ready for all sorts of pushback from the powerful forces that profit from the paper money there not going to just roll over. They will pit neighbor against neigbor, men against women , blacks vs white and soon after your fighting a war over bullshit while they stay in charge. Theve been in power waaaaay to long to let Ghostface killer set up shop hahahah that’s just funny to me .good try though , Or my biggest fear is they are making you think your taking down the banks and after the big celebration you look back and say wait we have a chip in our head and every dollar and every fart you pass is logged into your chip.   31. Right now, nobody knows how much cash is in my wallet unless I tell them or they steal it. Why would I intentionally distribute that information to thousands of nodes? Speaking as a sw eng for 30 years, the biggest problem with tech is that it’s about popularity and the wisdom of the crowd, and about making things so complex that you exclude people. One of the funniest things I read about Blockchain is when used as a file system, it’s distributed nature makes it hacker-proof. Huh? If all your personal information is on my node, what keeps me from pulling the plug and then cracking the encryption? As well, this introduces a(n additional) level of complexity into society that widens the great divide between those who want to play ball and those who don’t (or can’t). Once all financial/business/government adopts this, you have no choice: you play ball their way or you don’t play at all. Those who see this as the next step towards dystopia or a barter-based black market could very well be right. But again, the groupthink aspect of it is what bugs me most. Just because 78% think its wonderful doesn’t mean it is. It just means you’re going to have to capitulate to them. Bottom line, the Blockchain idea has its uses, but it’s not the answer to every problem, and indeed, creates many more, as does every attempt to circumvent human nature.
