I was born in 1994 and I never had a rotary phone but I had a land line with buttons which were fun cause they sounded like those mechanical keyboards for computers. But I knew my grandma had a rotary phone and I loved it. When I stayed with her and I got to call my mom and dad with it I got excited cause I loved spinning the dial. I love that I got to appreciate this old tech and know about it and got to see the change in tech over the years.

This is a little sad but makes sense
my grandma used that rotary phone and i still remember my dad carrying a brick-sized cell phone. and those payphones proved to be useful when i was traveling abroad and had to call someone since i didn’t rent the cell phone. the problem with smartphones is that you can accidentally dial emergency numbers and i’ve done it once.
I’m 14 and I don’t have an Ipad. Jeez…

I love the kid who loves old tech. If it wasn’t for old phones like that one. We wouldn’t have the phones we have today. I’m 17 and I know what those are and pay phones.
