My jaw dropped :O
Excellent demo. Well done!
Could you please post this video or one like it showing the real speed, rather than sped up 7 times?
Now custom plastic dildos can be made so much quicker, yeeeey
Wait a minute, is the video faster? then that means the 3D printing is extremely slow.
I haven’t looked too far into this but is it drastically different from the UV light cured units that have been around for around two years now? It definitely wasn’t as fast as this demo, but to me its an exact rendition with improved laser systems.Edit: this should be more prevalent than it is in their tech videos, but this prints in 3 dimensions, not layer by layer. Very well done.
my head exploded
I’d be extremely worried, but luckily Arnold Schwarzenegger is still alive.
What is it?
Incredible speed improvement in UV resin printing! Check out Carbon3D’s CLIP technology demo..
Witchcraft.
😮
OMFG
Du-Dun Dun Du-Dun
Du-Dun Dun Du-Dun
How is this possible?
its easy ……..this took just 7 f*king minutes to accomplish
Is this in any way similar to The Peachy Printer. http://kck.st/1BRJynW
WOW!
Seems size-limited by some aspects of the current design (the light can only penetrate so far into the dyed resin – which is obviously done on purpose to limit photo-activation), but I suspect it would be scalable to producing bigger models if they have a way to seamlessly tile multiple laser-galvo-mirror units under a bigger window. Resolution and production speed looks good from the site, I wonder what the strength and other qualities are like?
This doesn’t look like its printing. More like slowly raising up a sank down object. But I guess tech which is not understood seems like magic in the beginning. Still. This looks like a magic act made out to be a viral video.
Wow, this video can be real-time in a few years, since Joseph deSimone explained they can make it even 1000 times faster than traditional methods.
Waiting for this youtube video. haha
